Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
The Church of the Holy Communion offers a rich and unique approach to faith formation through the
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. This Montessori-inspired curriculum is rooted in scripture, prayer, and
the liturgy of the church. The Day School is pleased to carry on this tradition for our older students. The
children are taken weekly, in small groups, to the Atrium with our trained and credentialed Catechists.
This prepared environment is filled with beautiful, handmade materials that are very similar in design to
what they have in the classroom. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an invitation to wonder in a joyfilled
space that encourages quiet contemplation and to grow in love and knowledge of God.
